🏥 ChatGPT Health for medical help
Holographic AI

Hey folks,
First week back after the holidays and i’m still trying to get in flow, but not for xAI who just raised $20 billion Series-E which makes the biggest AI funding round ever. They're worth $230 billion now and plowing that cash into their Colossus supercomputers (over 1 million H100 GPUs at this point). This will surely accelerate Grok 5 which is currently in training.
Today in AI:
→ ChatGPT now connects to your health data
→ Razer's holographic AI desk companion is real
→ How to use Photoshop inside ChatGPT
→ Prompt of the Day: Technical decisions → executive summaries
Let's dive in..

🏥 ChatGPT Now Connects to Your Medical Records

230 million people ask ChatGPT health questions every week. OpenAI just made that official with ChatGPT Health, a dedicated space that connects to your medical records and wellness apps.
The integrations are surprisingly broad: Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, Weight Watchers, Peloton, AllTrails, Instacart, and direct medical records via health data infrastructure. Upload your lab results, and ChatGPT can help interpret them. Connect your fitness tracker, and it can factor activity data into nutrition advice.
Here's what makes this different from just asking health questions:
Isolated, encrypted storage: Health conversations live in a separate space from regular chats. Files, memories, and connected apps don't leak into other conversations.
No model training: Health data explicitly won't be used to train OpenAI's foundation models.
Medical record connectivity: Not just fitness apps, but actual lab results, prescriptions, and clinical data via b.well's healthcare integration layer.
The obvious caveat: ChatGPT Health is not for diagnosis or treatment. OpenAI built it with physician input to help people understand their health data better, not replace their doctor. Think of it as a research assistant for your own medical information.
For your team: If you're building health apps, this signals that AI + personal health data is going mainstream. Privacy-first architecture (isolated storage, no training) is now the baseline expectation.

🔮 Razer Built a Holographic AI That Lives on Your Desk

What if your AI assistant wasn't trapped behind a screen, but sitting next to your monitor, watching you work?
Project AVA is a 5.5-inch animated 3D hologram encased in a cylindrical tube that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. It sits on your desk, observes your screen and environment and the hologram itself is a swappable AI companion with a "dynamic personality" that learns and adapts to how you interact with it.
The hardware specs are surprisingly serious:
HD camera with ambient light sensor for visual context
Dual microphones for two-way conversation
Down-firing speaker for responses
Customizable showcase LEDs around the enclosure
Here's the real question: is a holographic AI assistant a gimmick or genuinely useful? The contextual awareness angle is interesting as AVA can see your screen and understand what you're working on. For gamers, that means real-time strategy assistance. For developers, it could mean a persistent AI pair programmer that's always watching your IDE.
For your team: This is early-stage hardware, but the "AI that can see your screen" concept is worth following for now.

🎯 How To Use Photoshop inside ChatGPT
You can now control Photoshop, Figma, Google Drive, and 20+ other apps directly from the chat interface.

Search and Enable Adobe Photoshop
(plus any others you want: Figma, Canva, Dropbox, GitHub, Notion)In the chat, type the app name + spacebar to activate it
(e.g "photoshop " then your request)Upload an image and describe the edit you want

🎯 Prompt Of The Day
Translate technical decisions into executive-ready summaries
I need to present this technical architecture decision to non-technical stakeholders. Reframe it as:
1) The business problem we're solving,
2) Why this approach (in plain language),
3) What we're trading off and why it's worth it,
4) The cost/timeline impact,
5) One sentence they can repeat to their boss.
Keep it under 250 words and avoid jargon.

⚡ Razer built AI headphones that last 6x longer than Meta's glasses. Project Motoko packs dual 12MP cameras at eye level, 36 hours of battery life, and works with Gemini, ChatGPT, or Grok. Real-time translation, turn-by-turn navigation, and gaming strategy assistance all baked in.
📈 Gemini just crossed 20% market share for the first time. Google's AI chatbot grew from 5.7% to 21.5% in one year, nearly quadrupling its traffic. ChatGPT fell from 86.7% to 64.5% over the same period. Grok hit 3.4% and closing in on DeepSeek at 3.7%.
