🕵️ ChatGPT Agent is Live

+ Video breaks 60 second barrier

Hey folks,

Claude just launched a Connectors Directory that lets you plug the AI directly into your workflows without any code. Think drag-and-drop Google Drive files, automate Slack tasks, spin up Canva designs, all inside Claude’s chat. It’s powered by their open-source Model Context Protocol, basically USB-C for AI. Suddenly Claude’s acting like a teammate that actually dives into your apps. AI is starting to skip the middle man and just get stuff done, this is a turning point for integrations and connectors for workflows.

🕵️ ChatGPT Agent Just Took the Wheel

🐝 The Buzz: OpenAI just dropped ChatGPT Agent, a hefty leap from Operator and Deep Research. Now your AI can run its own “virtual computer,” juggling calendars, ordering groceries and building slide decks while you kick back.

  • Toolception IRL: This agent combines the old Operator (browser clicks) and Deep Research (multi-step analysis), now fused into one power user tool. OpenAI even built a custom model just for this job.

  • Real-world scenarios: You can schedule a date night, check your calendar, book a table via OpenTable, pipe out a research report on toy trends, plus auto-park reminders for the office.

  • Patience required: Speed isn’t its strong suit. Expect 15–30 minute runtimes. But it handles tasks you’d normally batch together so set it off and come back later.

  • Safe, but buttoned-up: Before it sends emails or completes bookends, it asks permission. No surprise charges, no sneaky transfers. Finance flows are gated behind Watch Mode and if it wanders off a tab, it halts.

💡 Takeaway: ChatGPT Agent is a big step toward Iron Man’s J.A.R.V.I.S but it’s more so-so intern than genius assistant right now. It’s slow, slightly clueless at transactions, but gold for prolonged, multi-step workflows. If you’ve got time and curiosity, it’s worth a spin. But don’t expect full autonomy anytime soon.

⚡️ 60‑second AI video just rendered in real time.

Lightricks, the folks behind Facetune and Videoleap just dropped a major update to LTX Video. Now you can generate actual one-minute videos in real time, with streaming playback as it renders. This is a full scene, motion, audio-rich sequence, and it runs on hardware that doesn’t cost a small fortune.

🤔 So, what’s actually new here?

  • Breaking the 60‑Second Barrier
LTXV’s autoregressive streaming engine delivers the first second almost instantly, then continues generating the rest letting you watch your video unfold live. Previous models capped at eight seconds; now it’s story-time length.

  • Open-Source & Developer-Friendly
Lightricks released full weights on GitHub and Hugging Face. Whether you’re tinkering with the 13B or lightweight 2B model, you’re free to customize and experiment which is great for indie devs or university labs.

  • Runs on Consumer Hardware
Sure, it’s production-ready on a single H100 GPU, but also optimized to run on your RTX 4090 or even beefy laptops. No need for massive cloud bills.

  • Multiscale Rendering & Control
New layered rendering tech drafts a rough layout first, then progressively adds detail. You can tweak scene settings mid-render, depth, pose, lighting adjustments on the fly.

🧠 Use it like this

  • For Creators & Marketers
Spin up 15–60 second vertical ads or demo clips in a flash with brand voice intact, visuals crisp, all from plain-language prompts.

  • For Game Developers & Educators
Create live-cutscenes that respond to gameplay or adaptive explainer videos that evolve based on user input. LTXV can feed in real-time visuals to match interactive experiences.

🎯 Bottom Line

With real-time, long-form generation, open access, and hardware efficiency, LTXV is turning generative visuals into a storytelling medium, past a gimmick. And by keeping it open-source, they’re handing the mic to creators of all scales. Expect this to change how we think about video production, one prompt at a time.
